Job Description
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular Stock audits, and reconcile discrepancies. Provide accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing parts transactions.
- All Parts verification completed daily
- Ensure vehicle health checks are completed accurately to maintain the workshop efficiency.
- Advise the Aftersales Manager of any backorder issues, using the Mercedes parts escalation process to provide updates.
- Supervise a team of parts staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Interact with customers to understand their parts requirements and provide assistance in locating and selecting the right parts.
- Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively, referring any unresolved problems to the After Sales Manager.
- Strive to exceed customer expectations both internal and external by delivering exceptional service at all times
- Experience of working in a Main Dealer Parts environment in a Supervisory role.
- Experience using Kerridge.
- Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz parts and systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and documentation.
