Prep Technician – Forfar

Due to continued growth, we have a new vacancy arisen for an LCV PDI/Used Prep Technician at our Vehicle Prep Centre in Forfar.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the practical, hands-on side of the job and prefers a consistent, structured workday without the pressure of climbing the career ladder.

About the Role
As a Prep Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our vehicles are fully prepared and ready for delivery or resale. This includes carrying out PDI checks on new vehicles and preparing used vehicles to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles.
- Preparing used vehicles for resale, including basic mechanical checks and repairs.
- Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Supporting the wider workshop team as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous mechanical experience working on cars or light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A flexible and proactive attitude
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic PC skills are an advantage
