Job Description
Logistics Driver (HGV Class 1) – Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van Dungannon
Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van Dungannon is seeking a Logistics Driver (HGV Class 1 Licence required) to support our Aftersales Departments through the delivery and collection of vehicles and automotive parts.
We have full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Essential Criteria
- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Confident and experienced in driving a wide range of commercial vehicles
- Strong geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to represent Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van professionally
- High standard of personal presentation with a courteous and pleasant manner
Hours of Work
Full-time:
- 42.5 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- No weekends or overnight shifts
Part-time:
- Flexible hours available
- Start/finish times may vary according to business needs
Job Responsibilities
- Delivering and collecting commercial vehicles from customers in the area for servicing
- Presenting vehicles for MOT at local test centres
- Assisting with vehicle parts deliveries
- Completing daily safety checks in accordance with maintenance standards and legislation
- Moving and organising vehicles within the dealership yard
